Mises

"Whoever prefers life to death, happiness to suffering, well-being to misery must defend without compromise private ownership in the means of production."
Ludwig von Mises (1920)

  1. Nothing personal, but I feel I am a Libertarian type, too, and perpetually reciting old quotes is equally/more disturbing than people who speak their own words. Some people are having trouble paying their light bill and couldn't give a crap and a half about, who is it today...Ludwig von Mises??? In 1920 you would be stone dead of smallpox/gun shot wound by the age of 35 because there was no damn penicillin.

It is election day..tell us how you keep ATMs safe, and fill in the potholes...Gimme a break!!

  2. In reference to your other comment and this one as well. I set these up ahead of time as I knew I would not have time to sit at a computer all day since I have spent most of my time Campaigning and trying to make a difference in my community regardless of what people say about or my friends.

It is the job of the government to fill potholes. It is not the job of the government protect every ATM, especially in a city that is 27 square miles with only 90 some sworn officers. It would certainly make it easier if we allowed more responsible citizens to protect themselves by being allowed to carry handguns. I was running for City Council not governor and that was our platform last November.

So your comments did not get published because I was out the at 5am and did not get home until 10pm on election day. Wednesday I had things to do like pick up signs and relax. Thursday, like most people I was back at work and today was the first day I had the time to sit and look at this site.

your other quote will not published because of the vulgarity. I rarely post comments simply because of the vulgarity left and names that I and others are called in them.

Sorry if this comment comes across as being frustrated but I reject nearly all of the comments that come into this site because several individuals have nothing better to do than to sit and write comments all day.

I posted your comment because you are man enough to sign in as yourself state your point and I appreciate that.
